The Victoria Hotel - Saltburn-by-the-Sea

Spacious room, strong Wi-Fi, but the off-site car park was inconvenient at night.

Plenty of options, good food.

It was really great stay, I thoroughly enjoyed reasonably priced food.

Had great location right in the centre.

The room was spacious, a nice touch, but seriously, whose idea was it to put a nasty damp patch behind a chair? And after climbing four flights of steep stairs, i expected a complimentary drink, yet there was none in sight. If only they had informed us it was a pub, i almost gave a good review but just couldn't.

I enjoyed downstairs bar.

It was in a central setting in the centre of town. Plus, it was 10 minutes drive by car from Teamsport go Karting Warrington.

The beds were decent enough for a good night's sleep, and the strong shower pressure added a nice finish to the experience. If you're just looking for a spot to crash, the modern room design.

There were some quirks that dragged the experience down. The room had some unfinished touches, like a missing lightbulb and exposed cables near the kettle, which gives off a bit of a shabby vibe. I also faced a bit of a hassle with check-out since there was no clear process, having to leave through a fire exit and hand over keys in an awkward manner. Lastly, the food service felt disorganized, taking way too long, and that's something you don't want when you're hungry after a long day. It's got potential, but it really needs some refinement.

The hotel is fairly clean, with amicable personal, and offers fab location close enough to the pub downstairs and all bars and restaurants. The restaurant serves excellent Thai food. A great base for our new year, would stay here again.

great staff, good pub atmosphere for casual evenings

The staff were friendly. I appreciated the live music. It created a lovely ambiance. The pub's selection of wines was enjoyable and inviting.

The rooms provide a decent amount of space, and the beds are comfortable for a night's sleep. Cleanliness remains a strong point throughout the accommodations.

Limited facilities come into play. Showers lack essentials like gel and towels, leaving guests wanting. The absence of staff after hours forces use of a fire escape. Decor is dated and uninviting, with noticeable peeling paint and draughts due to gaps under doors.

Staying at victoria was a delight. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was clean with a high-quality bathroom. The location is great too, close to eating places and the seafront. Breakfast when available was excellent, just as other guests mentioned.

The room was spacious with a huge bathroom, with a modern shower and a whirlpool tub. The cleanliness left a strong positive impression, and the comfy bed made for a pleasant night's sleep. Free WiFi kept me connected throughout the stay.

Clean room, clean bathroom, with a comfortable bed and strong shower pressure, and the hotel is conveniently located just 31 km from the nearest airport.

Zero issues.

Stayed at victoria for a wedding and it exceeded my expectations. The large double room was spacious and comfortable. Excellent location near the coast made everything easy and enjoyable.

The room felt overpriced for its basic amenities, like the absence of shower gel and the inadequate heating control. Accessing the room via an outdoor fire escape was awkward, and the lack of response from staff prior to arrival was disappointing.
